At Peace

at peace

Sometimes you need to remove someone you love very much from your life because they’re harmful to your peace. I’ve been reeling from that in my own life. But at this point, I’m at peace.

I know that everyone has their own struggles, their own internal wars. But there comes a point where emotional manipulation and threats just don’t fly. My heart hurts, but it’s healing. My mind is healing. My life is healing. I am happier than I have been in years.

I’m actually looking a possibly starting book two in a three book series. I’m reconnecting with my characters again.

There comes a point where you have to tell someone that their drama has no place in your life. Not your circus, not your monkeys.

Quite frankly, I have enough monkeys of assorted types that are mine to deal with anyway.
