1999 -- somewhere in the middle of the Arizona desert
"Karma was a bitch who took way too much pleasure in kicking me repeatedly in the nuts."
Returning from a family visit to meet his newborn granddaughter, Jon Walsh, lead singer of Torrent, decides to take the long route home to California. After about a week of travel, he finds himself exhausted while driving through the arid Arizona desert. Vision Lake offers the Skylark Inn as a last-minute spot to crash. If only Jon could figure out why the woman behind the counter is so skittish, the overly-religious owner keeps coming onto him . . .
. . . or why nobody leaves this place.

Loved the book! Instantly fell in love with the characters Jon, Becca and Jodi. The story line held my attention and always left me wondering what was around the corner for Becca and Jon. Actually I’m still wondering what is around the corner for the two love birds…. Hope this book has sequel! Great job on your first book Amy!
