Unlike a usual fiction Friday where I give you a WIP or a bit from the archives, I thought I’d give you a break and some nuggets that have been in my brain for a while.
Like the smoke curling from a cigarette in a bus, creating a hazy cloud as four guys travel to their next tour stop, all of them tired and sick of being around each other in such closed quarters.
Or the story of a desk, and how it’s been the only stable thing in a bass player’s life, throughout stormy relationships, the band breaking up, and a whole whack of other things.
In short, today is another day, and this FictionFriday isn’t due to a few things – like a lack of time this week. Next week we’ll be back with more real fiction, and some of those nuggets will see the light. 🙂
