Happy Halloween! Tonight is the night that (most places) are going to have little ghosts, ghouls and such going door to door for tasty treats.
Tomorrow, well, for writers, it’s NaNoWriMo season. A unique version of hell where we try to get 50,000 words in a month. I’ve done it with varying levels of success over the last 10 years, and this year, I decided to try again. For me, I don’t care if I “win” or not. This year, I’m just going to give it what I can, and if I fall short or tap out early, then so be it.
It’s rather rainy where I am, and that means it’s likely to be a short time for the door to door trick or treating. I’ve always liked the costumes and that’s the big thing for me about this holiday. Probably why I got into drama club in high school. Thankfully cosplay has become a thing.
I had thought of doing a short story up for Halloween, but decided not to this year, because of the lack of time in my life currently.
So, have a safe, spooky Halloween folks.
