An April Update

Things have been continuing behind the scenes here, probably to spite the viruses that I’ve been fighting for a long time.

Some large decisions have been made, and we’re slowly moving forward on them, but they’re parts of a rather large system that needs to be moved slowly – think of moving the space shuttle – it has to be done slowly and deliberately, or things will get really messed up.

The viral bullshit has caused me to delay things that I wanted to get back to – like the podcast and vlog. But I’ve been sticking to my  “do one thing creative” each day. The vlog is taking a long time for one episode because, well, listening to the most annoying voice I’ve ever heard on a loop isn’t something I can subject myself to for long periods of time. I am weighing the thought of putting another episode before it, or maybe two. The subject of that episode needs to be brought to light, but summarizing several hundred gigabytes of bullshit isn’t easy.

The podcast, well, when you have no voice, not much you can do unless you’re using text to speech, right?

The initial plan for 2024 was to get at least two things published, and I am hopeful that I’ll be able to do that. The second novel is looking like a 2025 date due to the fact it’s a rather large thing, but two short story collections are something that I should be able to get done while dealing with the day job. I’ve been looking into ways of getting the short fiction out to everyone that are a bit different than in the past, so I’ll update with more news on that as soon as I have more to share.

Also, crafts will be coming to my Ko-Fi store soon, and I’ll update on socials when that is ready to go.

This might not be the update that I had hoped to make, but I did want to get an update out that wasn’t last minute before a launch.

Stay safe, stay happy and remember – you’re awesome!
